As novas edições chegam dia 15 de Novembro. Esta será a primeira vez em CD do álbum estreia Tina Turns The Country On, a data marca também os 20 anos das primeiras reedições dos álbuns Acid Queen, Rough e Love Explosion, discos gravados logo após deixar a parceria com Ike Turner.
Os anos 70, foram para Tina Turner uma viagem de auto descoberta. A sua estreia em 1974, foi com o disco Tina Turns The Country On, onde empresta a sua visão crua da soul a clássicos da country music de Kris Kristofferson, Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, Olivia Newton-John ou James Taylor.
Acid Queen, saiu em 1975. O tema título, inspirado no seu papel no filme Tommy, a adaptação ao cinema da ópera rock dos The Who, é uma re-interpretação do original composto por Pete Townshend. Inclui também Under My Thumb dos Rolling Stones e Whole Lotta Love dos Led Zeppelin.
Rough de 1978, rompe com a figura rock, emergindo em pleno fulgor disco, cunhado uma nova identidade. A Billboard chamou de uma variedade aventureira de material novo e antigo.
Love Explosion de 1979, foi o último registo até ao ressurgimento em Priva-te Dancer, de 1984. Love Explosion tem melodias disco e soulful. A voz de Tina continua a ser a sua mais valia. É o disco onde tem mais liberdade.
